Christopher "KC" Syers
Chris Syers is the owner of No Quarter Aquatics and a lifelong aquarist with over 20 years in the hobby. After 28 years in law enforcement and with Advanced SCUBA certification through PADI, he brings a disciplined, detail-focused approach to building and maintaining stable, healthy aquarium systems.

Darren Syers
Darren brings a wealth of hands-on knowledge to No Quarter Aquatics, strengthening the areas that matter most—construction, painting, shop operations, and aquarium maintenance. His skills help ensure both the store and our systems are built, maintained, and presented to the highest standards.
Shop Technician / In house Breeder
Joe Phae
Joe recently relocated to Greenville from Hershey, PA and brings over five years of aquarium experience and a background in Ecology. He is joining No Quarter Aquatics as a Maintenance Technician, In-House Breeder, and retail assistant, where he helps maintain systems, support customers, and contribute to our in-house breeding projects.
Shop Lead
Tunicate Tucker
Meet our official NQA shop dog and morale officer. Serving as our full-time greeter, occasional barker, and highly effective stress reliever, he takes his job very seriously. Whether he’s welcoming customers at the door, supervising the tanks, or making sure everyone gets a little extra serotonin during their visit, he’s a beloved part of the No Quarter Aquatics crew. His duties include quality control on treats, emotional support during long days, and reminding everyone that sometimes the best therapy has four legs and a wagging tail.
